It is always one of my recommendations to clients to test the air quality at home and it is especially important if they are suffering from a chronic inflammatory disease. We have spent more time at home than ever in the last couple of years so it is more important than ever to reduce the toxic load in our homes as much as possible. Air filters that test the air quality are a good idea but they can be expensive and as some houseplants are very effective as absorbing toxins they can make an attractive addition or replacement to filters. Plus, it is easy to have them in as many rooms as possible - ideally those that you and your family spend more time in - bedrooms, children's bedrooms, home offices etc.
